Bodum Chambord Coffee Press Review
(Ottawa, Canada )
For about a year I have owned a small Bodum Chambord coffee press. I originally purchased it because I wanted to try using a French press at home, which is supposed to be a great way to produce gourmet coffee conveniently from your house. After using this product many times, I am happy to say that it definitely lives up to its billing.
The great thing about using a coffee press and this Bodum model is that it results in distortion free, great tasting coffee. With no machinery or complex processes, there is nothing to mess up the coffee. With some good, fresh coffee grounds you can produce a great cup of coffee exactly to your strength and taste preferences each and every time.
It's very easy to use and get going. You just need coarse grounds and you need to get some water boiling. Pour the hot water over the grounds and let it stand for a few minutes. Then use the pressing device to filter out the grounds and enjoy your coffee, that's it.
The only complaint with this coffee press is that it can be hard to get all of the coffee grounds out of the wire mesh of the presser. For the most part cleanup is easy, and it is a dishwasher safe machine. However, sometimes grounds get stuck and then it can take you a minute to try to jam them out of there.
All in all this coffee maker is great for around the home usage. It's quick and easy, and it produces great, simple and fresh coffee. It's also very cheap and affordable, so it's a great pick up. All you need to do is make sure you either grind your own beans freshly and coarsely, or purchase fresh coarse grounds from a local store.Editor's note

If you have a look at the reviews of Bodum Chambord, you will see immediately that the vast majority of users love this coffee press. Most people rave about the excellent coffee that this coffee pot can make. The main complaint that people have is the glass beaker breaking easily, but that can be said about any other glass coffee press.
