Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System

My personal favorite coffeemaker is the Keurig B60 coffee maker. It's one of those machines that allow you to brew one cup of coffee at a time. The K-cups, as the little coffee pods are called, come in a variety of flavors.

There's nothing more relaxing or refreshing than brewing that single, fresh cup of joe and kicking back to enjoy it. For me, my coffee hour after work is a total sensual experience. I keep going long and strong all day at work, but when I get home I am ready to sink back into my chair and have a couple cups. What makes it so special? First, I love the scent of the coffee as it brews. And then I enjoy the warmth of the mug in my hands, and the feel of the heat wafting up to my face.

The B60 lets you brew coffee in small, medium, and large sizes. I am not a fan of bold, dark roasts, so I like to brew to the larger size. The coffee tastes mellow and it lasts longer. The B60 is the more expensive model, but I saved money by not buying the larger reservoir. The B60 is ready for another cup after just thirty seconds, so why bother with that? I also passed on the filter that lets you brew your own ground beans, because choosing from the K-cup varieties is 75% of the fun.

The Keurig brews quickly, and I love the blue LED backlighting on the B60 model. Lots of my friends tease me because I am an evening coffee drinker, but caffeine really doesn't keep me awake at night. I admit there are times when I go for the decaf, and Coffee People offers some great medium roast decaf K-cups, so try them if that's a concern for you.

Keurig coffee makers are very popular thanks to their convenience and wide range of coffee flavors that are available in K-cups. Keurig Special Edition strikes a good balance between features and price. It sits somewhere in the middle between the basic model, Keurig Elite, and the top-end model, Keurig Platinum.
