KitchenAid Coffee Grinder
As a child, I remember the old coffee grinder my grandmother used to keep spare keys in. This antique novelty was merely a decoration, and I never learned what a coffee grinder was. As I grew older, I learned to love coffee, and upon buying a package of coffee beans on accident, I quickly learned why people own coffee grinders.
When I first started using a coffee grinder, it was the one that was already found at the store, where you dropped coffee beans in, and voila! You had ground coffee to take home. As I became a more experienced coffee drinker, however, I wanted my own grinder.
The KitchenAid blade coffee grinder is the one the currently graces my counter top. It is a small, sleek and powerful grinder. The KitchenAid products are well known for the long lasting quality products, so I hope that I get much use out of this grinder.
One feature that is particularly nice about this grinder is the removable canister. You can put the ground beans directly into the coffee maker, and it is easy to keep it clean. Often it is difficult to keep the dust generated from grinding coffee cleaned.
This grinder also has a large capacity and runs very quietly.
The feature that may make this not a perfect choice for everyone is the inability to do a very fine grind with spices. While the motor is heavy, it does not adequately mix any spices added to your coffee well. They are simply whipped around. While I do not frequently add spices to my coffee, this does not affect my feelings to this grinder, but someone who is concerned about this should consider this.
If you don't already grind your own coffee, it makes your coffee drinking experience so much better! You get fresh taste in every cup!Editor's note
